It's hot, you're bored and looking for something to do this summer in this burning hot desert we call home!

Here are 5 things I recommend doing in Arizona in the summer time with kids!

1) Book a photoshoot with me - HA! Bet you didn't see that coming! No but, truly summertime is actually such a fun time to book a photoshoot in Arizona; we could set up down by the Salt River and take beach photos, or we could go on an ice cream date and cool off at a splash pad, or even do something in your home or a studio. The options are actually endless - my mind is a bottomless pit of ideas, let's create!

2) Use Resort Pass! "ResortPass is a brand-new concept that provides all the perks of a luxury hotel without an overnight stay for a fraction of the price."

3) Visit one of the many aquatic centers around the valley with waterslides, kid zones, and more!

4) Paddle board/tube down the Salt River! A great place for fun and photos;)

5) Head up north to Showlow/Pinetop-Lakeside, Payson, Pine, Camp Verde, Sedona, Flagstaff, or Prescott, for some INCREDIBLE summer hikes in a bit cooler weather. I photograph often in the summer in Pinetop-Lakeside area - don't be afraid to ask me for recommendations on hikes!

Whether you live here or just visiting, make sure to not get stuck in the house this summer and get out and try something new! This state is so beautiful year round. Happy summertime!
